Hi All,

Im havin win xp installed on my home pc.(2.4Ghz & 1gb Ram,80GB HDD). Now i want to practice oracle on linux Os. So planning to install linux on my pc. Pls sugest me a best possible solution

1. Dual boot(linux/winxp)
2. VMware/Knoppix
3. Ubunto/kubunto(i relly donno wats this...)

If your suggestion is 2 or 3 then how do i install oracle on it to work with !

If dual boot is a good solution, please provide the link for downloading linux and oracle on linux. Im confused with lot of links !

I haven't heard of anyone that uses Oracle on Knoppix yet. Personally I'm using dual boot (Mandriva Linux with Oracle 11g) and it works quite well.

Another great option would be VMWare or Oracle VM.
