Can TDE be used to encrypt data in queue tables?

I have some sensitive information in clear text that gets stored temporarily in a queue. Encryting the data before it gets put into the queue may not be an option. After dequeuing, the data gets encrypted before going into the database.

The concern is about the data that gets written to/retrieved from the queue and appears in redo/archive logs. Any utility like Logminer could probably read the clear text from the logs.
