Is it possible to run 64bit Oracle on 32bit x86 machines running linux ? Currently our customers are using 32bit oracle on x86 32bit machines and wants to upgrade to oracle 10g 64bit, with out changing the platform. Will doing this derive any performance advantage (or degrade performance) ? Googled a lot and didn't find any detailed information. If someone has done similar stuff please share the information.

Thanks
Vinu

you can move database among different platforms.ie 32 to 64 and vice versa.
but you cant install 64bit oracle on 32 bit..
