HI
I have installed Oracle 10g2 on RHLinux ES with minor( i think) errors i.e.(missing rpm gcc 3.2 and libaio-0.3.96).
1. firstly i was not able to run sqlplus command (command not found error) but that was the problem of PATH which i added.
but still when i run sqlplus command, prompt return back to same linux prompt not sql. I thought, as i have not created any database at the time of installation. So i decided to run dcba, but this gives me following error
UnsatisfiedLinkError exception loading native library: njni10.
Exception in main.

Please help me .
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
missing rpm gcc 3.2
It is not minor error gcc package require for successful oracle installation.
you have to installation RPM GCC package from installation ( cd 1).

post below output
linux@oracle]# rpm -q gcc
if nothing return it mean gcc package is not install.
you have to install first.
