• ORA-01034: ORACLE not available
• ORA-27101: shared memory realm does not exist
• Linux Error: 2: No such file or directory or
• ORA-01034: ORACLE not available

I facing the above problem when installed oracle 9ir2 on redhat 9.0.
when clone database creation is complete successfully
then i started sqlplus is working but as i shutdown the computer and restart again. Then i again start sqlplus it allow me upto username/pass as i enter then the above error is showing.

please reply me for this problem as soon as possible
it is urgent.

If it is really urgent, contact oracle support services and open a TAR.

And if it is not "so urgent" and you could afford to spend some time,please search the forum/ google yourself.

The problem seems to be your environment.
Make sure you have right ORACLE_SID,ORACLE_HOME are defined and PATH is having right $ORACLE_HOME/bin
