Hi All,
Have just been asked to look at the installation of an oracle DB on a linux platform. I need to start at the beginning so I am going to look at disk layouts controllers etc. Trouble is I don't know any linux commands to tell me how many disks etc are installed in the system. Does anyone here have some such commands and a description of what they do?

regards

Alan.
