Hi All,

" FRM-40737 Illegal restricted procedure message"error is being occured on the trigger ON-ERROR.
I know that this trigger will be fired when an error occurs and certain reasons for this errors are passing an unexpected value for a parameter , a restricted built-in procedure is called from pre-,post-,on-...etc., triggers.

But can anybody provide me with an answer for the reasons of the error apart from the above mentioned ones...

Thanks & Regards,
Saritha

As the error states, you're calling a restricted procedure from your On-Error trigger. Remove any navigation commands, such as GO_ITEM() or GO_BLOCK(), from your On-Error trigger code.

Hi,
Thx for ur reply. But i already specified in my mail that ..it is not because of what u said ..

The reason for this is some of the library files are missing on my system.

Done using another system and thank you once again for your response.

Thanks & Regards,
Saritha
