Hi,

I'm preparing OCA Certification - 1Z0-007 exam.
In most of the sample questions, I see that the SQL used is in ANSI standard for query joins. Is it going to be the same way in real exam? or we will get the ORACLE join syntax?.

As I'm totally used to ORACLE join syntax, ANSI standard will be little bit confusing to me and may lead to incorrect answers.

Could you please advice.

Thanks,
Suresh

Hi,

Oracle recommends to use the ANSI syntax for joins, as outer join queries with Oracle join operator (+) are subject to the number of rules and restrictions. During the exam you will get some questions, which will check your ability to use ANSI syntax for joins. So my advice would be to learn this syntax. Cool

Rasa
