I don't think this is my network, although that is always possible. But this week it seems the site is extra slow when I submit my replies to posts. Like 10-15 seconds to process them and load the next page. Browsing the site is fine, reading messages is fine, fast as usual. I'm posting this here in case anyone else notices something similar indicating a problem.

or maybe it has always been like this and I'm imagining things..

Same also happens on creating a topic...about 15 seconds. Isn't it usually faster than that?

Although it isn't consistent, the above reply was one second while create topic 15 (and all my other replies this morning 15). So at least I'm not imagining things, but it could of course be on my end of the network...

If it is slow again, look at the "Total time taken to generate the page" statistics at the bottom of the page. This should indicate if it's a server or network problem.

Best regards.

I have noticed an increase in the number of duplicate and triplicate entries in the Forms forum ... I found that if I just kept 'clicking' I was able to post the same reply seven (7) times before the 'screen changed'. Now I understand why some of our contributors have been multi-posting ... okay, a couple have still been using it as a method of 'attracting attention' but most of the duplicating has been inadvertant.
