Sir, Iam having Oracle 8,8i which is compatible for windows. and they are working on windows perfectly. but if i want to load it in linux and to work, is these oracle in enough or these will noty support.
if any other is there how can i get the compatible version of 8i for linbux. oam having redhat 7.2, and 8.0;

and by using this oracle under linux, what sort of programs acan we built. that is, we are not having the VB in linux. please calrify my doubts.

   8i and supported in rH 7.2

2. I dont think there would be a VB in linux ( it is Microsoft prop tool).
   have VB in windows box, and database in linux box.
