Hi,
This is regarding a report developed in reports 6i. This is a report generating heavy data (tax details of all employees of an organisation).The report runs ok for all employees on client server but is hanging on web.
The error that we get on running the report is:
Oracle Reports Server CGI - The Reports Server Engine terminated abnormally.
The report runs fine for a few employees on web. But for larger no of employees, it is hanging. Basically this is a heavy output report and is slow. So could it be that because it is very slow, connection times out?
Please can you advise any solution.
