Dear Sir/Madam

When install the Oracle Server 8.1.7 on Windows xp platform

when creating the database using Database Assistant the error message always jump. ORA-03113.

My pc are located in the Domain enviroment,but when switch to Workgroup no error message will jump

Could you help me to what is the problem

Does your domain user have the local permissions to install any software to your PC ?

YES,The domain User also belong to local Admin Group
and can install software
