hi,
when i was trying to create DB using DCA i got the
TNS-12540 -- too many onnections error
what is this error & what should i do to resiolve it.
Any help greatly appreciated.

I m using oracle 9i for the first time.And whenever i try to use SQL plus it asks for user name, password and host string.If i m entering "scott" as user name, "tiger" as password and leaving the host string blank, it gives this error.

Kindly suggest what should i enter in the above fields so that i could use SQL plus.
