Thanks in Advance.

Somebody please tell me how to configure oracle names server on oracle 8i and to increase my client network connections as they are very slow and authentication takes some 5 seconds to connect to the database y is that, and clients are win98 and server is winNT.

first make sure that sqlnet tracing is NOT ENABLED
