I have been trying to configure connection manager.
I connect from server A to B, connection manager and target database are on B. So I connect to port 1610 of B, connection manager redirct it to 1523(listener port), so far so good. But then listener just make a redirction and chose a random port to connect back to A. I haven't put a firewall between A and B yet but I know if I do, the connection won't pass the firewall for sure.

I checked with metalink and read about all I can find, cant find a solution for this. Anyone actually using connection manager through firewall ? How do you made sure that the connection from B to A go through port 1610 and not a random one ?
