Hi.

I'm configuring the listener in Oracle 8.1.7 and when I see the status this is the output:
$ lsnrctl status

The previous out put is normal...? I another database (7.3.4) I only see :

I'm not sure if the first case is Ok, I'm upgrading my database.
In the first case I have to modify my hosts file (in Windows 2000) to can connect to the database.
