Hi,

I need to access an Oracle Database from a Sun machine and I'm not sure what I need to install on it in order to do that.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

you need to installl oracle client compoennts in the client machine.
configure ur tnsnames.ora ( or net8 easy config assitent, GUI tool )to connect to the server database.
