Hello,

i'm new to LDAP, and dun know how it works.
i wonder the following can be done and if possible, how to do...

My question is how do i connect to an existing oracle database table to retrieve some records and distribute it via LDAP server? Can i do it using unix script or java program?

Does anyone has any examples? or know a helpful URL?

Thanks

There are two PL/SQL packages available for developers to access data from OID:
DBMS_LDAP: this contains the standards compliant LDAP access functions
DBMS_LDAP_UTL: this contains Oracle extensions to the standard LDAP functions
