/foru/forum/fa/13851/0/Iam getting, DB Port error, while connecting oracle from Compiere ERP application.
Iam using Oracle DB Port 1521.
Kindly help to resolve the same.

You may need to configure your database listener to listen on the ip address of the the database server, not on 127.0.0.1.
Also, you may need to change the Databse Name you are providing from orcl to orcl.ec2.internal.

In general you might be better off asking the Compiere people for advice on this, you know.

Ok Thank You

Now we are getting ORA-01882 - timezone region not found, please help to solve this error.

How did you fix the previous error? You should give the solution, it may help other people using this Compiere product.

Then create a new topic for the new problem.

For the DB Port error, we have changed the IP Address(System IP) in the DB Listner and reboot the system.
DB Port error got resolved. Thanks
