Hi,

I could check listener status by issuing below command.
usircp04:DRAM:/opt/oracle10>ps -ef|grep lsnr
oracle10 14063 1 0 21:25:50 ? 0:01 /opt/oracle10/product/10.2.0/bin/tnslsnr LSNAPP10 -inherit
oracle10 14302 13929 0 21:26:39 pts/1 0:00 grep lsnr
oracle10 14259 1 0 21:26:14 ? 0:00 /opt/oracle10/product/10.2.0/bin/tnslsnr LSNRMAN10 -inherit
oracle10 14300 1 0 21:26:30 ? 0:00 /opt/oracle10/product/10.2.0/bin/tnslsnr LSNADMIN -inherit
usircp04:DRAM:/opt/oracle10>

Is there any other way to verify if listener is running or not ? just to double check.

Regards,
Srini

After 8 years and many accounts you are still unable to post in the correct forum.
Guess where a "listener" question should be posted.

Does it make a difference 7 or 8 for you? I bet when it will be 10 or 15 you will be at the same level as you are now at your top level.

If you were a true professional, you would not be posting as you you do.

Nobody posting here is owed any answer to any question.
