Cold or hot backups?
And why do you open a new topic for the same question?

Well, an incremental backup makes backups from changed blocks since the last incremental backup. So you can restore to that exact point in time (the point in time you made the backup).

Archivelogs have in them all the changes in the database since the last archive log. These are necessary for rolling forward a restore.

So if you make a incremental back at 13:00 hour. And you make no further archivelog backups, at 15:00 hour you can restore untill 13:00 hour. If you want to roll forward to (for example) 14:00 you need the archivelogs produced from 13:00 hour until 14:00 hour.

If you have not the archive logs then you can't make any recovery.
