Hi Michel, i have to access oracle database in Linux 5 present in VMWare 7, with help of Putty, the issue is on the same system where VMWare resides, what kind of steps shall i do? whether installing Reflection X necessary ?

What is the issue?
If you are accessing Unix server from a unix box, I would just use Terminal.
>whether installing Reflection X necessary ?
If you are going to invoke any GUI like DBCA. some kind of X emulator is necessary.
ssh -X user@server 

would work, if your display is properly set and X services are configured.
