Hi Michel, Iam trying upgradation using dbua, after installing 11.2.0.1.0, it's prompting for time-zone is in old version, and corresponding to do patching after upgradation, what patch file i need to apply, or, it's asking for updating time_zone using DBMS_DST package, what kind of steps needed to be executed after upgradation?

Search on MOS for "time zone patch".

The upgrade is applying a patch in itself (although not through OPatch), so I don't know what to answer. Wink
Yes, you can upgrade from 11.2.0.1 to 11.2.0.3 without other patch... unless the installer requires some.

Hi Michel, look at these zip-files, are they 'runInstaller' files when extracted?

for #11.2.0.2
p10098816_112020_Linux-x86-64_1of7.zip
p10098816_112020_Linux-x86-64_2of7.zip

for #11.2.0.3
p10404530_112030_Linux-x86-64_1of7.zip
p10404530_112030_Linux-x86-64_2of7.zip

how to download the above zip files?

They are full delivery of Oracle rdbms (you should have 7 files for each as their names say) and, yes, they must be installed using the installer which is packed in them.
Note that you do not need to install 11.2.0.1 or 11.2.0.2 to install 11.2.0.3.

Hi Michel, Are those zip-files available only through Metal-link?
