Hi

I have tried to install Oracle 10g on my Windows 7 running laptop having 3GB RAM. It shows successfully installed. But when I try to connect to sql using "sqlplus /nolog" its showing an error as follows:

SP2-1503: Unable to initialize Oracle call interface
SP2-0152: ORACLE may not be functioning properly

what does it mean? And if I try to create a database using Database Configuration Assistant, after I click "Finish" in the last step, its simply closing.

Please help me out.

Thanks in Advance

To expand Michel's first point: Oracle won't run on any MS Windows Home edition, so - if you use it, consider upgrading to Professional one.

Its Windows 7 Ultimate!

Even its not creating a database when I try to use Database Configuration Assistant or dbca (from command prompt). In the last step its just close everything without any error or message.

Please help me out.

Thank you all, very much
