i don't know how to explain more....

"DATABASE IS OPEN AND RUNNING FINE"..

when i connected as oracle user to the server, i can connect to the db,but when am trying to connect the server with particular user(here am getting issue "aed" user),not able to connect database.Attached the env details and all in output file previously.

What else info i have to give here to get an idea about this error...

OS user does not have required OS permission

BTW - The SYS schema should ONLY be used to apply Oracle patches or version upgrades.
SYS should NOT be used on any regular basis.

In the same window:
id
env | sort | egrep 'ORA|TNS|LIB|PATH'
sqlplus /

Then in another window with oracle user:
id
env | sort | egrep 'ORA|TNS|LIB|PATH'
sqlplus / as sysdba
select instance_name, name from v$instance, v$database;
select * from v$version;
select username, password from dba_users where username like '%AED%';
select value from v$parameter where name='os_authent_prefix';

(Note: this is just to use the same account than previously in the topic otherwise SYS/SYSDBA should not be used to do these commands.)

Regards
Michel

You could avoid some, most, or all of these difficulties if SQL*Net was used to log into the DB by non-oracle users.
