hello everyone,
I have an oracle application (Froms 6i) that is being accessed from a PC client running Windows 7 Professional. Whenever I try to access the the application I get a "Oracle Forms Runform has stopped working" error.
I tried installing the runtime over and over again withn no use.
This is not the first problem I encounter with "Windows 7- Oracle 6i" combination. I wonder if anybody has some common troubleshooting tips or tested solution for such problems.

As this combination of operating system & Oracle software is not certified, no wonder that it won't work. If you search a lot (both this forum, other forums, Internet (generally speaking), you might find the answer. I don't know it.

I would install virtual machine, put Windows XP onto it, install Forms 6i (and its latest patch) there and run it - hopefully - without problems.

Regarding your problem,How did it work out for you?

I'm facing the same problem 'Re: oracle forms 6i runform has stopped working when I'm compiling the attached calendar .I'm using windows 7,form 6i.

You can try install using compatibility settings to windows XP or earlier.
