Hi,

I am using Oracle 10g enterprise edition .

Currently, Partition is enabled in my database.I want to disable it.

SQL> SELECT * FROM V$OPTION WHERE PARAMETER = 'Partitioning';

PARAMETER
----------------------------------------------------------------
VALUE
----------------------------------------------------------------
Partitioning
TRUE

Please tell me the steps to disable the partition feature.

Thanks

On windows, unless there is something new, you have to reinstall Oracle unchecking the option.
This does not impact the existing databases.

I should be more specific.
You have to deinstall then reinstall; the option will be there among installation options under Entreprise Edition one, it is checked by default (iirc).
