hiii...

i installed my oracle 10g R2 in my pc but while startup my database database manually i got error msg
cmd> startup nomount
ORA - 00439 : Feature not enabled: Real Application Clusters

please resolve it ... as soon as possible and please show me windows based any solution.

i attached my scrn shot of getting error

2/ you posted the "edition" not the version.
Post "select * from v$version"

Before, Please read OraFAQ Forum Guide and How to use [code] tags and make your code easier to read.
Make sure that lines of code do not exceed 80 characters when you format.
Indent the code, use code tags and align the columns in result.
Use the "Preview Message" button to verify.

Maybe changing the RAC parameters to non-RAC ones, for instance "cluster_database=FALSE".
Starting in RAC mode is not mandatory. Wink

so what can i do to solve it ,

cmd>startup nomount
this cmd is mandatory for me to create my database manually..
i attached my screenshot while i am installing from setup.exe by run as administrator .. in that also in Database Configuration Assistant stage installation becomes failed ..

its give me error like that so, without mounting i unable to create my database from cmd , i attached my screen shot of cmd

here i attached my log file which is generated while i am installing or creating my database while during setup.exe due to unable to create database automatically while clicking on setup.exe while installing my oracle 10.2.0.3 i have to create my data base manually by cmd.

Installation Guide provides complete & correct steps for successful software & database installation.
If you can't follow the enumerated steps in the Installation Guide, why should we expect you to do better with same words here?

i have same problem as this user

This is the first time I have ever seen "ping hostname" display the MAC address!
