The distributed_lock_timeout parameter has been made obsolete in Oracle 8i. But still this parameter has been defined as underscore parameter and this can be set to the required value. Usually this parameter should not be set until recommended by Oracle. Does any one of knows what is the default value of this parameter now?

Many thanks

Hello,

according to the Oracle Manuals is the default 60 seconds. See : http://otn.oracle.com/docs/products/oracle8i/doc_library/817_doc/server.817/a76960/ds_txnma.htm#8444

Good luck,

Epe
