Hi,
I Have two database instance running on my server. For one of the instance, I cannot connect (say using sqlplus) from some other client. I get error 12545 Error( Connect failed because target host or object does not exist). However I can login from the server anytime. If I restart listener, I can connect immediately. However after couple of minutes I get the same 12545 error. I do not have any kind of problem on the other instance running on the same server.

Does anybody have any idea?

thanks

Mike
