Hi,

Application team requested hosting team to add some space to tablespace as it was exceeding 80% used.Now the hosting team have added the space as per recomendation and the application team wants us to verify if the space was added.

Can somebody tell me how to check the space was added in GB to list of tablesapces ?

Can you not use the same query that your application team used when they determined that the tablespace was 80% full?

DBA_DATA_FILES
DBA_FREE_SPACE

All catalog views are described in Database Reference

Sorry to mention is that we do not know how much the size was before hosting team added space.

(Almost) All ALTER DATABASE or ALTER TABLESPACE statements are reported in alert.log.
