I recently installed Windows XP Professional on my new machine and try to install Oracle 8.1.6 and unable to proceed from the startup menu. When I click on the Install/Deinstall Button nothing happend. Is anybody install Oracle 8.1.6 on XP? Is it (Oracle 8.1.6) compatible to XP or I have to go for Oracle 9i as they claimed it's compatible to Windows XP.

Any advice appreciated...........
