Currently I'm using Oracle 9i(Enterprise Edition) on Windows 2000 Advanced Server.
When I restart the server and when log in to SQL*PLUS, the error message read as :
-Oracle Not available
-Oracle Realm does not exist
How should I solve this probem?

Note:This error message occurs only when I install Active directory on the machine. But when I uninstall the Active Directory and reboot machine, Oracle works as usual.

Hi,
This is happening since Oracle with Active Directory requires higher memory and your system might not have such high memory. So since it cannot start oracle during boot process, when you seek oracle it says shared memory realm doesnot exist!
try increasing real memory or paged memory.
hope this helps

Satish
