Hello Team,

I am SAP Basis Consultant with OCP 10g certified.

We have a new request where we have to perform Data striping (not sure of the right terminology) on certain important tables to improve the performance.

If commit is triggered on any of the tables in one database, committed data should be applied onto another table or database.

I would like to know, if Oracle Streams concept is what shall be used. And if used, it can be used for striping data at table/tablespace level instead of entire Database level (only few important tables).

Or

Materialized view - how much helpful is this ??

Kindly request you'll to help me with any documents if available.

Regards
Rupali S

Yes (don't your OCP allow you to know it?).

So explain what do you mean with "striping".
