Hello,

I installed Oracle VM 2.1.5.(x86_64). I was setuping network interface and I found that there were no 64bit packages in it. All packages are i386 or i686. I can't understand if it is Oracle VM 2.1.5.(x86_64) 64bit product or not?

Thanks,

Where would you see any 64bit packages in the "network interface" ???

You can see what verision of Linux you are running with

uname -a

from the command line.

For example, in my case :

# uname -a
Linux starfury 2.6.30-gentoo-r4 #6 SMP Thu Sep 3 19:42:50 CEST
2009 x86_64 AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 810 Processor AuthenticAMD
GNU/Linux

Hello ThomasG,

Thank you for attention to my question. I ran "uname -m" command and the output was

# uname -m
i686

I ran "file" command against kernel file and the output was i686 too. I ran
rpm -q --qf '%{NAME}-%{VERSION}-%{RELEASE} (%{ARCH})\n' <package_name>
and the output was i386 or i686. That's why I can't understand if it is Oracle VM 2.1.5(x86_64) 64bit or not.
