I would like to take this opportunity to wish all the members of this group, and especially those with whom I have been communicating for so long, a pleasant time during the festivities at this time of year.

I will be taking a break and will get back to helping those who ask for it in the Forms Forum in the New Year.

David

Thank you, David! Have a great time, wherever you are going (or staying) during the vacation! /forum/fa/5233/0/

Oops! Just have realized that it is probably not snowing down under!

... and if David lived any place but Canberra, you'd probably be right. Wink

OK, maybe not in December, but it's still the coldest non-alpine climate in Oz.

0 degrees Celsius in July?!? If I ever manage to get that experience in a way that "today I'm home and tomorrow morning I'm in Canberra", I'd certainly think that hell had frozen. Because, our July temperatures are (for the last few years - global warming effect?) +35 Celsius in the northern inlands. Coastline situation is much more comfortable: there's the sea, and there are cold beverages /forum/fa/1602/0/

I reckon sea and bevies are not endemic to Croatia. But in a country the size of Australia, sea is optional. Check out Alice Springs - 36C average in Summer and 1500km from the beach - if you want a bevie on the beach you'd better pack a few dozen "travellers".
