Hi,
I have a synonym pointing to a table in a different instance. When the program is run, it fails with the ORA-03114 error - message is "not connected to oracle".
When I try to do a select on this synonym it shows the records. Infact if I write a PL/SQL script for this synonym, it works. But it fails in the fetch cursor routine after successful connection to the database when I run my Pro*C program after compilation.
I failed to understand the error cause. Can u please help with possible reasons for this error and solution?
