Hello,
I have sql query which i call from a Unix Shell script which is scheduled by Crontab and it runs for more than 5 hours. When i run the same query from sqlplus manually i get the output in less than 20 minutes.Why is that the Crontab is slowing down the
process?What can i do to rectify this problem?

Have u tested the execution of query at the same time the sql query is called from the Unix script?
