I've purchased an app that uses an Oracle DB on the back end. Since the Oracle license belongs to the vendor, I don't have SQL*Net or Net8. Purchasing the database software seems overkill to get SQL*Net or Net8. Are there any 3rd-party products that emulate SQL*Net or Net8?
