Hi all,
I am trying to modify a former coworker's report that creates graphs in reports 2.5 and sends them directly to a printer. I need to email these reports instead. Is this possible? What would be the file type and where can I look for documentation on how to do this?

you can send the report output to e-mail..give destype as mail and desname as user EMAIL-ID
You can send mail to any mail system that is MAPI compliant or has the service provider driver installed. The report is sent as an attached file.

Thanks for the reply. This will be useful for many apps that I work on now. The follow up question is - reports 2.5 creates .ogd graphic files for the graph, how can I convert it to something that can be opened by the non-oracle world?

Running the client on NT, the above did not work for me. While it did start up my third party email application, it did not attach the generated report. Am I missing the "service provider driver"?

Any help would be appreciated.
