I am creating a new database on ORACLE 10g getting following error
oracle@linux:~/product/10gR2/dbs> sqlplus /nolog

Please tell me where i am wrong?

I found the problem.
I need to specify the pfile location.
SQL> startup nomount pfile='/home/oracle/product/10gR2/dbs/inittestdb.ora';
